How to Use One Ball Spirometer

1. Open the package and take out the breathing exercise. Take the inhale tubingwith mouthpiece from the handle, pull the inhale tubing to the required length,and connect the open one end of the tubing into the hole, Slide the green markerto the volume(ml) prescribed by your doctor.

2. Right before beginning the exercise,completely exhale all the air from yourlungs. Place the mouthpiece in your mouth and hold it firmly between your lipsto keep air from escaping when inhaling.

3. Inhale slowly and deeply with the device in the vertical position,keeping theflow-indicator ball in the happy-face position.Inhale as deeply as possible.When you are unable to inhale any more,hold your breath a few seconds and checkhow high the piston reached. Try to reach your prescribed target level.Repeat theprocedure the prescribed number of times.Record your progress curve on the UserRecord Sheet.

4. For hygiene purposes. Wash the mouthpiece before and after use and keep it inthe special slot when not in use; return the exerciser to its original packing untilyou use it again.
