Product Description
During inhalation, squeezing the bag generates pressure that opens the inlet valve, allowing gas to flow into the lungs.
During exhalation, gas is expelled from the lungs, but the valve does not open fully. It maintains a low positive pressure (e.g., 5–20 cmH₂O).
This keeps alveoli slightly open at the end of exhalation to prevent collapse, thereby improving oxygenation and ventilation efficiency.
